EVANSTON, Ill. — Head coach Tim Lenahan and the Northwestern men's soccer team will wrap up its preseason exhibition campaign this week with a pair of matches downstate against Bradley (Aug. 15) and SIU-Edwardsville (Aug. 18).
Tuesday's tilt at Bradley is the Braves' ninth annual Danny Dahlquist Memorial Game. The contest is a tribute to Dahlquist, who was preparing for his redshirt freshman season for the Braves when he died days before the start of the 2007 preseason. This is Northwestern's second appearance in the signature preseason event.

Following the game at Bradley, Northwestern travels to Edwardsville to battle the Cougars on Friday, Aug. 18 at 7 p.m. CT. SIUE dropped its first exhibition game in the form of a 2-1 defeat at Creighton on Aug. 12.

Northwestern begins its 38th regular season, and 17th under Lenahan, when it welcomes Valparaiso to Martin Stadium on Friday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. Northwestern holds a 13-5 advantage over Valparaiso in the all-time series meetings between the two programs. The Wildcats topped the Crusaders, 1-0, in their last contest during the 2014 season.
