Fans will enter Ryan Field through Gate K in the southwest corner of the football stadium. Blankets will be allowed on the playing surface but chairs are prohibited in order to protect the grass.

And while at Ryan Field, fans also will be able to pick up the 2017 Northwestern football poster.

This summer's free showing of Illumination Entertainment's 'The Secret Life of Pets' at Ryan Field is part of the Starlight Movies in the Park series sponsored by the city of Evanston. 'The Secret Life of Pets' is about a terrier, Max, whose owner brings in Duke, a large dog Max highly dislikes. They quickly get into trouble and are sent to the pound, which leads to a diverse group of pets heading out on a journey to find them.

This is the third straight year that Northwestern Athletics is hosting a Movie Night at Ryan Field. Previous showings have been 'Big Hero 6' and 'The Good Dinosaur.'
