EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern today announced the members of its Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2017, which will formally be inducted during Hall of Fame weekend Sept. 15-16 surrounding the Wildcats' home football game against Bowling Green at Ryan Field.

This year's class comprises 11 total members: six student-athletes, one coach and four honorary inductees:
 

• Jess Daley (1996-2000), men's golf
• Andrea Hupman (2004-08), women's swimming and diving
• Marilyn Peck Hall (1987-91), women's swimming and diving
• Ray Ragelis (1949-51), men's basketball
• John Shurna (2008-12), men's basketball
• Shannon Smith (2009-12), women's lacrosse
• Sandy Stap-Clifton (1980-89), women's tennis coach
• Christine Brennan ('80, '81), honorary
• Michael Wilbon ('80), honorary
• Steve ('70, '74) and Sue ('70) Wilson, honorary
   

The induction ceremony and dinner was held Friday, Sept. 15, at the Hotel Orrington in Evanston.
