EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern opens NCAA Tournament play on Friday against Utah State in the Cal regional. The Wildcats and Aggies meet at 12 p.m. CT at the Hellman Tennis Complex in Berkeley, California.
The winner will face the victor of No. 8 overall seed Cal and Tennessee Tech on Saturday in the regional final. The regional champion advances to the Round of 16 at the final site in Athens, Georgia.

No. 21 Northwestern enters its sixth consecutive NCAA tournament with a 21-10 record, the fifth straight season of more than 20 wins. The 45th-ranked Aggies are 23-8 and have won 15 of their last 16 matches entering Friday's contest.
Chicago's Big Ten Team has advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament in three of the past four years, including each of the last two seasons.
