EVANSTON, Illinois – Northwestern wrestling assistant coach Conor Beebe will not return to the staff for the 2017-18 campaign, head coach Matt Storniolo announced on Monday.
"We're extremely thankful for everything Conor has brought to the Northwestern wrestling family over the last four seasons," Storniolo said. "He's contributed to some of Northwestern wrestling's most memorable moments during his time on the staff and has been instrumental in the development of our student-athletes. Conor's passion for the sport is infectious, we all wish him the absolute best in everything moving forward."
Beebe joined the Wildcats staff as a volunteer coach in October of 2013, and was promoted to assistant coach in April of 2015. The Western Springs, Illinois, native was a four-time NCAA qualifier as a Central Michigan undergraduate and won a Mid-American Conference championship in 2010.
