2017 NCAA Championships Brackets
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The 2017 NCAA Championships are set to begin Thursday morning (March 16) at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis. The three-day tournament starts Thursday at 11 a.m. CT and concludes with the championship finals Saturday at 7 p.m.
ESPN will televise the second round (Thursday), semifinals (Friday) and finals (Saturday) live during prime time. Daytime coverage will be televised by ESPNU, and all matches can be streamed live on ESPN3.
Four Wildcats will travel to St. Louis to partake in this year's championships. Johnny Sebastian (165) earned an automatic bid after finishing seventh at the Big Ten Championships, and Mitch Sliga (184), Jacob Berkowitz (197) and Conan Jennings (285) all received at-large bids after successful regular seasons.
Sebastian will take on the No. 5 seed Chad Walsh of Rider in the first round. Sliga begins the championships with a matchup against second-seeded Bo Nickal from Penn State.
Berkowitz faces the No. 12 seed from Purdue, Frank Mattiace, and Jennings will match up against the No. 11 seed Jared Johnson from Chattanooga.
