EVANSTON, Ill. — Northwestern's men's swimming & diving team was named a College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team, as the squad had a grade point above 3.0 in the 2016 fall quarter.
With a team GPA of 3.08 from the fall, the Wildcats joined 12 other Big Ten Schools with the distinction.
"I'm really proud that our student-athletes are leaders in both the pool and the classroom," head Coach Jarod Schroeder said. "They understand the importance of being successful in all facets of life, and are making the most of their Northwestern Experience."
The Fall Team Scholar All-America award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams who have achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in the fall semester/quarter.
