EVANSTON, Ill. – Fans will have plenty of opportunities to see some of the best tennis in the country when Northwestern hosts three matches this weekend.

The No. 9 Wildcats (6-0) welcome Boise State (1-4), Harvard (4-2) and Duke (3-1) to the Combe Tennis Center. The 'Cats take on Boise State at 2 p.m. on Friday, Harvard at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday and Duke at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Dan & Susan Jones Family Head Football Coach Pat Fitzgerald will deliver the honorary first serve on Friday prior to the Boise State match. Fans are encouraged to arrive early.

Northwestern moved up a spot in the Oracle ITA national rankings this week to No. 9 after cracking the top-10 last week.

The 2017 Wildcats are the fifth team in program history to start a season with six straight wins. The record is nine, when the 1989 Northwestern team, led by Steve Herdoiza, began that season 9-0. This year's 'Cats can match that total this weekend.

Series History
Northwestern is 4-3 all-time against Boise State. The 'Cats took the most recent meeting, a 7-0 shutout, in 2015 and have won three in a row dating back to 2001.

Chicago's Big Ten Team also holds a narrow one-match advantage all-time over Harvard. The Wildcats lead the series, 8-7, and have won the last three going back to the 2015 season. The teams played twice that year with Northwestern winning a 4-3 match in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

Duke leads the all-time series with Northwestern, 7-2. The Wildcats ended a seven-match losing streak to the Blue Devils last season with a 5-2 win in Durham.
