EVANSTON, Ill. — Northwestern's Olivia Rosendahl has been named the Big Ten Diver of the Week for the second time in her sophomore season.
Rosendahl swept the diving events in a conference dual meet versus Iowa last Saturday. She picked up her third win of the season in the 1-meter competition with a score of 292.10 before capping her day with her second platform victory of the year with a season-best score of 307.40. The Los Angeles, California, native hit NCAA zone qualifying scores in both events.
This marks Rosendahl's third career Big Ten Diver of the Week honors and ninth overall as she earned six Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors a year ago.
Northwestern will be back in action this weekend for its final tune up of the regular season before the Big Ten Championships. The Wildcats travel to West Lafayette, Indiana, for a Big Ten triple dual versus the host Boilermakers and Minnesota. The event will begin Friday at 5 p.m. and resume Saturday at 10 a.m.
