EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern senior Konrad Zieba was named the Big Ten Athlete of the Week after leading the Wildcats to a marquee win over No. 7 TCU, the conference announced Tuesday.

While playing at No. 2 singles, he beat TCU's Alex Rybakov, 7-6 (3), 6-4, to give Northwestern its match-clinching point over the Horned Frogs. Rybakov was last year's ITA National Freshman of the Year.
Zieba also dispatched Louisville's Nicolas Rouanet, 6-3, 6-2, and shut out IUPUI's Steven Christie, 6-0, 6-0, on Sunday.
