EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern head women's tennis coach Claire Pollard has announced the signing of Caroline Pozo to a National Letter of Intent to join the Wildcats for the 2017-18 academic year.
"We are thrilled with the addition of Caroline and all she will bring to the program," Pollard said. "Caroline is only going to improve in college. She is super-athletic and has an all-court game. She has a great foundation. However, with the training, coaching, and support we have to offer here there is no telling how high Caroline's game will soar."
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Pozo has enjoyed an outstanding prep career, including compiling a perfect 77-0 singles record from her sophomore through senior seasons without losing a single set. She captured three Class 2 singles state championships along the way.
