EVANSTON, Ill. – The Big Ten season opens for Northwestern with a match against No. 4 Ohio State at Wadsworth High School in Wadsworth, Ohio, Sunday at 11 a.m. CT.

Northwestern wrapped up a 5-1 non-conference schedule with five dominant wins and its only loss coming in close fashion to nationally-ranked North Dakota State. 125-pounder Anthony Rubinetti was named the Big Ten Wrestler of the Week this past week after beating then-No. 12 Freddie Rodriguez of SIU-Edwardsville by first period fall.
The Wildcats lost a close match to the then-No. 7 Buckeyes last season, 27-16.
This is the final dual of 2016 for Northwestern. The 54th annual Ken Kraft Midlands Championships will wrap up the calendar year on Dec. 29-30 at Welsh-Ryan Arena. The finals will once again be televised live on Big Ten Network beginning at 7 p.m. CT.
