SUN CITY, Arizona – Northwestern alumnae Katlin Park carded a nine-under 207 to capture her first professional victory, a three-stroke win at the 2016 Arizona Women's Open.
Park opened with a 5-under in round one, a four-under 68 in round two and a steady, even-par 72 on Wednesday to seal a three-stroke win on The Cactus Tour at Sun City Country Club (Par 72, 6168 yards).

The Tustin, California, native was one of only six players in the 73-woman field to finish the tournament under par.
Park competed for the Wildcats from 2012 through the spring of 2016 when she graduated with a degree in Learning & Organizational Change, and a minor in Business Institutions. She was honored as the Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 2013, and earned All-Big Ten accolades in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
