ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, Calif. -- Northwestern's duo of Jillian Rooney and Rheeya Doshi advanced to the doubles final at the Jack Kramer Collegiate Inviational, highlighting the Wildcats' performances on Saturday.
Squaring off against their teammates Erin Larner and Lee Or, Rooney and Doshi edged their fellow Wildcats, 8-7, to earn a spot in the final. Rooney and Doshi will take on the team of Zoe Katz and Madison Westby of USC in the championship match.
In singles action, Larner and Doshi both won two matches in the consolation draw to advance to the final against one another.
