EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern will begin the final week of the regular season with a non-conference home match against No. 11/6 Loyola on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 4:30 p.m. CT.

Northwestern's [4-10-1, 2-4-1 B1G] match against Loyola is its three-straight against a ranked opponent. After topping No. 4 Notre Dame, 2-1, in overtime (Oct. 18), the #B1GCats suffered a 2-1 defeat on the road at Michigan State (Oct. 22).
Junior goalkeeper Francisco Tomasino made his 13th appearance of the season in the net and finished the game with seven saves. Elo Ozumba scored his third goal of the season in the 88th minute.
THE OPPONENT
No. 11/6 Loyola enters the match with a 12-1-1 record overall and is in the midst of a six-match unbeaten streak. The Ramblers won back-to-back games over Northern Illinois, 2-0, (Oct. 18) and Missouri State, 2-0, (Oct. 22) most recently.
The Ramblers are on a two game winning streak after a tie to Evansville in double overtime and look to continue it in their next match against Northwestern.
Alex Lasinski leads the Ramblers with 15 points on six goals and three assists, while teammates Brody Kraussel and Elliot Collier are making an impact with 13 points (two goals, nine assists) and 12 points on 5 goals and 2 assists, respectively.
SERIES HISTORY
Northwestern holds a 7-19-6 advantage in the all-time series history between the two programs, which includes a 13-game unbeaten streak (2001-13) in NU's favor. Loyola took a 2-0 victory over the 'Cats last season.
COMING UP
The 'Cats will close out the regular season on Sunday, Oct. 30 with a noon CT contest against Penn State. It will be Senior Day at Martin Stadium and the program will recognize the careers of its senior student-athletes.
