EVANSTON, Ill. - The Northwestern Wildcats kick off their Big Ten schedule when they host Indiana on Thursday, Sept. 15. The #B1GCats enter Thursday's matchup with a perfect 7-0-0 overall record and are the only remaining undefeated team in the Big Ten.

SCOUTING INDIANA
• Indiana enters Thursday's matchup after going 1-1 at the Virginia Tech Invitational. The Hoosiers fell 3-0 to host, Virginia Tech, before defeating James Madison, 4-2.
• Redshit sophomore Mykayla Brown leads IU with six points (3g, 2a) as two of her goals came in the squad's last timeout against JMU.
• The non-conference portion of the Hoosiers' schedule included eight games, with six opponents advancing to the tournament last year and four winning their conference championship.
• IU added 12 new faces to the 2016 roster, including 11 true freshmen.

SCOUTING PURDUE 
• The Boilermakers finished the non-conference schedule 2-4-0 overall with losses to Baylor, West Virginia, Montana State and Dayton.
• Purdue is led by Hannah Leinert who has registered six points in just as many games (2g, 2a).
• The Boilermakers will face off against Illinois on Thursday afternoon before heading to Evanston.

BETWEEN THE PIPES
Junior Lauren Clem has been a solid presence for the Wildcats' defense this year, playing every minute of the 2016 season. So far this year, she has recorded six clean sheets, allowing just one goal

Northwestern's .857 shutout percentage ranks third in the country. Clem's goals-against-average (GAA) in 2016 is currently .141 to rank fifth in the country and first in the conference. Her save percentage of .938 ranks eighth among NCAA DI goalkeepers.

Against Indiana State, Lauren Clem recorded a program record with her 25th career shutout. Clem now has 28-career cleansheets.

BALANCED ATTACK
Eight Wildcats have registered goals so far this year. Sophomore Brenna Lovera leads NU with eight points (4g, 0a) through seven matches, while freshman Maddy Lucas and junior Kassidy Gorman have two goals apiece.

 NON-CONFERENCE WRAP UP
The Wildcats opened their 2016 slate with two-straight shutout victories against JMU and VCU before a 2-1 win over crosstown rival DePaul. NU rattled off four-consecutive shutouts to close out non-conference play as the Wildcats have not conceded a goal for 446 minutes.
