LEXINGTON, Ky. — After 45 minutes of action, the match between Northwestern and Kentucky was cancelled due to weather. The game will not be rescheduled.
 
Since the game did not last the minimum 70 minutes, there will be no result and the game will not count.
 
Northwestern opened the 2016 season with three consecutive road victories. The Wildcats return to Evanston for their home opener on Thursday, Sept. 1 against Indiana State at 1 p.m. CT.
