EVANSTON, Ill. — After opening preseason camp on Thursday morning, the Northwestern men's soccer team will pack its bags for its biennial week-long training trip to Pomona, N.J., where the squad will practice and play three exhibition contests.
The Wildcats will open the trip by taking on the South Jersey Select all-star team on Saturday, Aug. 13 in Galloway, N.J., before playing defending Patriot League champions Colgate (Aug. 16) and St. John's (Aug. 19) to round out the trip.
All three games will take place on the campus of Stockton College, the alma mater of head coach Tim Lenahan.
Northwestern will host its season opener on Aug. 26 against Florida Gulf Coast at the new Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium.
