EVANSTON, Ill. -- Runners and walkers gathered at Ryan Field on a picture-perfect Sunday morning to take part in the fifth-annual Run For Walk to honor late Northwestern head football coach Randy Walker.

Individuals participated in a 4.1-mile run through the picturesque Northwestern University campus and along Lake Michigan before eventually finishing on the 50-yard line of Ryan Field, the home of the Wildcats. Meanwhile, walkers traversed a 5K path while youngsters scooted their way along during the Kids' Cat Dashes on the same field that Northwestern plays on during Saturdays in the fall.

Attendees were addressed by Coach Walker's widow, Tammy, as well as former Northwestern quarterback Zak Kustok and NU grad and Big Ten Network lead anchor Dave Revsine.
