EVANSTON, Ill. — Bidding is now live at NUPurplePricing.com for single-game tickets for the Northwestern Football game on September 24 against Nebraska under the lights. Single-game tickets for the Wildcats six additional home games at Ryan Field will go on sale to the public on Tuesday, August 2, at 9 a.m. CT.

Beginning today, fans can visit NUPurplePricing.com and bid for their chance to secure tickets for the Wildcats' Big Ten opener against the Cornhuskers. All fans will pay the same low price, so there is no benefit to waiting to claim the best possible seats. Bidding prices will begin at $100 for sideline tickets and $80 for corner/endzone seats. Those who bid at a higher amount than the final sale price will be refunded the difference.

Debuted during the 2012-13 Northwestern basketball season in conjunction with Northwestern economics professor Jeff Ely and Kellogg School economist Sandeep Baliga, Purple Pricing is a version of a Dutch Auction that ensures all fans pay the lowest market price.

Single-game tickets for Northwestern's six other home games (Sept. 3 vs. Western Michigan; Sept. 10 vs. Illinois State; Sept. 17 vs. Duke; Oct. 22 vs. Indiana; Nov. 5 vs. Wisconsin; Nov. 26 vs. Illinois) will be available at 9 a.m. CT on Tuesday, August 2, at NUSports.com or by calling 888-GO-PURPLE.

Northwestern football season tickets are available now online or by calling 888-GO-PURPLE and remain the only way to guarantee seats for all seven exciting home games at Ryan Field.
