ATLANTA — Junior Andrew Cramer placed 26th and 36th in the 3-meter and platform competitions, respectively, at the 2016 NCAA Championships, which were held at Georgia Tech this past weekend.
Cramer, who was first diver to qualify for the Championships from Northwestern in the program's modern era, scored a 352.20 in the preliminaries of the 3-meter and a 311.25 in the preliminaries of the platform. Cramer's platform score was his best of the 2015-16 season.
The Indianapolis, Indiana, native got to the NCAA Championships after finishing in fifth-place from three meters at the NCAA Zone Diving Championships and took home tenth from platform.
Cramer was part of Northwestern's 35th-ever trip to the NCAA Championships. Historically, the 'Cats have had 31 individual champions.
