NEW YORK CITY – Northwestern closed out the 2015-16 season during the second day of the 2016 NCAA Championships at Madison Square Garden on Friday.
The Wildcats had Jason Tsirtsis competing in the wrestlebacks at 149 lbs. He had two matches on Friday, and a 3-2 loss to Duke's Mitch Finesilver in the second of those matches, ended Tsirtsis' tournament.
He won his first match of the day against Lehigh's Laike Gardner by a 3-1 score.
Tsirtsis ends his junior season with 15 wins and his career record stands at 86-14 after three seasons.
