It's been a journey from Romania to Northwestern -- both literally and figuratively -- for senior center Alex Olah.
Nearly six years after leaving his home in Europe to come to the United States, first for high school in Traders Point, Indiana, and then on to Evanston where he has spent the last four years, Olah experienced a heart-warming reunion.
Olah's family recently made the journey to the United States for the first time to see him play at Northwestern on his Senior Day -- a Wildcats victory over Nebraska -- before watching the team at the Big Ten tournament in Indianapolis.
The story of the family's reunion was featured on Wildcat Fastbreak (video posted above), the official coaches show of Northwestern Basketball. It was also profiled by Paul Skrbina in the Chicago Tribune.
