EVANSTON, Ill. — Northwestern wrestling will celebrate the 2015-16 season with the annual team banquet on Sunday, May 15 and golf outing on Monday, May 16. Wildcat fans and friends of the program are invited to attend both events.
This year's banquet starts at 10 a.m. at the Orrington Hotel and the golf outing will once again take place at the Chevy Chase Country Club (1000 N. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling, IL 60090). Registration forms, which include pricing and sponsorship information, can be found at the top of the release.
The Wildcats' 2015-16 season culminated with three qualifiers for the NCAA Championships. Jason Tsirtsis (149) and Dominick Malone (133) finished fourth and ninth at the Big Ten Championships in their respective weight classes to qualify, and Jameson Oster (141) received an at-large bid.
