WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Junior Andrew Cramer qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 3-meter and platform competitions after a strong performance at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships at Purdue's Boilermaker Aquatic Center.
The Indianapolis native notched a fifth-place finish in the 3-meter championship and a 10th-place spot in the platform championship. He will be a part of Northwestern's 35th ever appearance at the Championships. In all, the 'Cats have had 31 individual champions.
Cramer has been consistently Northwestern's best contributor from the diving boards this year, atop the NU leaderboard in all three events. He scored a strong 363.50 points at the Championships in the 3-meter championship en route to his fifth-place finish.
The NCAA Championships will be held in Atlanta from March 23-26. Cramer will be diving on Friday (3-meter) and Saturday (platform). The finals will be broadcast on WatchESPN.
