EVANSTON, Ill. — Lacey Locke (Carmel, Ind./Carmel) was honored with Team Unify/CollegeSwimming.com's Big Ten Swimmer of the Week honor, following her triple first-place performance in the dual victory over Iowa, the website Tuesday.
Locke took home first place in the 100 back, 200 back and 200 IM. In all three events, the junior was the fastest finisher by more than a second.
So far this season, Locke has notched three NCAA 'B' qualifications: one in the 100 back and two in the 200 back. In the 100 back, 200 back and 200 IM, she is on top of this season's NU top times list.
TeamUnify/CollegeSwimming.com's awards are given out weekly to one male and one female swimmer from each Division I conference.
