Gradwohl Profiled For Research Work

EVANSTON, Ill. -- It's not exactly breaking news to those who follow Northwestern Athletics that NU student-athletes not only regularly excel in competition but also in the classroom.

Kelsey Gradwohl, a senior member of the 14th-ranked Wildcats' field hockey program, is no exception. On the field, she has helped lead Northwestern to Big Ten titles each of the last two years as a defender. Off the field, the psychology major in the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences spent last summer conducting research on memory retention under the supervision of renowned neuroscientist Ken Paller.

To learn more about Gradwohl and her research, be sure to check out this Northwestern.edu feature by Fritz T. Burgher.
