2015 NU Wrestling Golf Outing Flyer
EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern wrestling will celebrate the 2014-15 season with the annual team banquet on Sunday, May 17 and golf outing on Monday, May 18. Wildcat fans and friends of the program are invited to attend both events.
This year's banquet starts at noon at Firehouse Grill (750 Chicago Ave., Evanston, IL 60202) and the annual golf outing again takes place at the Chevy Chase Country Club (1000 N. Milwaukee Ave., Wheeling, IL 60090) with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. CT.

The Wildcats had a successful 2014-15 season that culminated with two Big Ten Championships and two NCAA All-Americans. Jason Tsirtsis (149) and Mike McMullan (285) each won Big Ten titles at their respective weight classes and finished third at the NCAA Championships. Northwestern's six NCAA qualifiers guided the team to a 15th place finish, marking the program's ninth top-15 finish in the past 11 seasons.
Tsirtsis, McMullan and Pierce Harger all reached the 30-win plateau with McMullan and Harger clearing 100 for their careers. McMullan became just the third Northwestern wrestler in program history to earn All-America honors four times.
Northwestern will recognize its annual award winners at the banquet and pay tribute to this year's senior class, which includes McMullan, Harger, Alex Polizzi and John Coukos.
