EVANSTON, Ill. -- The seventh-ranked Northwestern Lacrosse program will play its final road game of the regular season on Thursday when it travels to Notre Dame to take on the 10th-ranked Irish inside Arlotta Stadium at 6 p.m. CT. 

The Wildcats are coming off a tough 11-9 loss at Stony Brook on Sunday, but have not lost back-to-back games all season and are 3-0 in games following a loss. The 'Cats are 14-3 all time versus the Irish, having won 14 straight before suffering a 9-8 defeat last season in Lake Barrington, Ill. 

Lasota Added to Tewaaraton Watch List
Freshman Selena Lasota was added to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List last Thursday, the Tewaaraton Foundation announced.  She joins seniors Bridget Bianco and Kara Mupo on the list for the awarded given each year to the top player across all three devisions of NCAA lacrosse. Lasota has scored at least two goals in all 13 games this season, ranking 6th in the country with 48 total goals and fifth nationally with 3.69 goals per game. Three different Wildcats have won the Tewaaraton Trophy a total of five times in program history - Kristen Kjellman (2006, '07), Hannah Nielsen (2008, '09) and Shannon Smith (2011).

Another Top-10 Test
The Wildcats have faced one of the toughest schedules in the country this season and Thursday will be no exception as their matchup against No. 10 Notre Dame will be the ninth against a top-10 opponent this season. The  `Cats are 4-4 against ranked foes this season and will seeking their first road win against a ranked foe as they enter 0-2 in such contests. Each of the losses this season have come to teams ranked in the top 5 in this week's IWLCA poll - No. 1 Maryland, No. 2 North Carolina, No. 3 Duke and No. 5 Stony Brook.

Rout at Rutgers Gets Everyone in the Mix
The Wildcats picked up their second Big Ten last Thursday at Rutgers, 18-6, thanks a collective team effort offensively. Twelve different players scored for Chicago's Big Ten Team, including the first goals of the season for sophomore Lydia Cassada, junior Lauren Murray and senior Paige Jones. Freshman Hayley Ciklin also scored a pair of goals for the first time in her career.

Carroll Shining in Defensive Role
Senior Jess Carroll shifted back to a defensive role on March 22 against Syracuse and shined by holding All-American Kayla Treanor without a shot, but it was Thursday at Rutgers that was arguably the senior played arguably the best game of her career. Carroll's ability to anticipate passes and cut into passing lanes led to a career-best five caused turnovers and five ground balls. She became the 10th different player with five caused turnovers in a contest, tying the fifth-best mark in program history.
