EVANSTON, Ill. -- When the Northwestern Wildcats and Ball State Cardinals meet for the final nonconference clash of the 2015 campaign at Ryan Field on Saturday, Sept. 26, the game will be played in prime time on the Big Ten Network.

Big Ten Network announced its entire prime time slate for the 2015 season Monday, though the exact start time of Northwestern's scheduled appearance will be announced at a later date. No matter when it begins, the game will be the first-ever matchup between the 'Cats and Cardinals on the gridiron. NU has hosted at least one prime time game at Ryan Field each season since 2010.

NU opens the docket at home against a Pac-12 foe for the second consecutive year when the Stanford Cardinal arrives in Evanston on Sept. 5. The 'Cats will also host Eastern Illinois (Sept. 12), and Ball State (Sept. 26) in nonconference action before welcoming Minnesota (Oct. 3), Iowa (Oct. 17), Penn State (Nov. 7) and Purdue (Nov. 14) for Big Ten battles.
