EVANSTON, Ill. -- No. 12 Northwestern concludes its regular season this Monday and Tuesday, April 13-14, at the Silverado Showdown co-hosted by Colorado and Oregon at the Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa, California.
Northwestern finished third in this tournament one year ago, and returns as the 12th-ranked team in the nation according to Golfstat. The Wildcats are one of 15 programs in the field that will compete on the par-72, 6,253-yard North Course layout at Silverado. The North Course played host to the 2014 PGA TOUR Frys.com Open and recently was redesigned by PGA Hall of Famer Johnny Miller.
In addition to NU, No. 32 Oregon, No. 34 California, No. 39 Colorado, No. 47 San Jose State and No. 48 GRU Augusta all are inside of Golfstat's top 50 currently. Colorado State, Harvard, Hawaii, Long Beach State, Minnesota, New Mexico, Oregon State, Washington State and Wisconsin round out the field.
The tournament consists of 36 holes of play Monday and the final 18 on Tuesday. Each day will begin with a 10:30 a.m. CT/8:30 a.m. PT shotgun.

Following this tournament, Northwestern's focus shifts to the 2015 Big Ten Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana. NU won its first-ever conference team title in 2013 before placing third overall on year ago.
