EVANSTON, Ill. -- After a 15-day hiatus from competition, the seventh-ranked Northwestern lacrosse program will return to Lakeside Field for the first of three-straight games versus ranked opponents when it hosts fifth-ranked Syracuse Sunday at noon.

The game will also be the first of four straight that will air on the Big Ten Network. Mike Wolf and Courtney Connor will be on the call for the Sunday matinee. The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a Cricket Wireless beanie.

With six games remaining at Lakeside Field, including each of the next three, fans can still purchase season ticket packages here. Packages start at just $39 with a complimentary Northwestern "Wildcats" stocking cap.

Lights, Camera, Action: The Northwestern Lacrosse program will be featured a conference-high four times on the Big Ten Network this season, beginning this Sunday vs. Syracuse. Each of the Wildcats' next four games will air on BTN, including the first-ever lacrosse game in Big Ten history against Maryland on March 26. After a Sunday matinee versus Louisville on March 29, the `Cats will close the stretch with the Thursday Night Game of the Week on April 2 at the University of Michigan.

A Warm Welcome for Ms. Wessels: After missing the first four games of the season to injury, freshman Corinne Wessels made her collegiate debut with four points (2g, 2 a) at No. 2 North Carolina on February 28 to earn Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors. She followed up that performance with six points on a goal and team season-high five assists in the Wildcats' 14-8 win over Colorado on March 7. Wessels was the No. 17 ranked freshman according to Lacrosse Magazine and is the all-time high school leader in career assists, assists in a season, career points and points in a season.

Stone Walled: Senior goalkeeper Bridget Bianco, a member of the Tewaaraton Award Watch list, has taken her game to a new level over the last two games. Bianco has made 25 saves over two contests versus North Carolin and Colorado with a combined save percentage of .555. She enters Sunday's contest vs. the Orange with a career-best .469 save percentage.

Ms. Score-A-Lota: Freshman Selena Lasota has burst onto the collegiate lacrosse scene with 24 goals through her first six games. Lasota entered the week ranked 14th in the country in total goals and third in the country in goals per game (4.0). Only Jenna Kasmarik of Winthrop has scored more goals in six games this season with 30. Lasota has twice been named the Inside Lacrosse National Rookie of the Week and Big Ten Freshman of the Week. She also earned Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honors after scoring five goals against Duke and a season-high six goals at Marquette.

Scouting the Orange: Syracuse enters Sunday's contest winners of its last three after a 14-8 decision over Cornell Tuesday evening. The Orange are led by Halley Majorana's 40 points (24 g, 16 a), while dynamic scorer Kayla Treanor is just behind with 36 points (27 g, 9 a). Kelsey Richardson sports a 10.20 goals-against average and .429 save percentage in the cage, appearing in all but 17:36 of play for SU this season.
