EVANSTON, Ill. -- Freshman Hannah Kim (Chula Vista, Calif./Otay Ranch) has won her third Big Ten Golfer of the Week award and her second in a row after finishing as runner-up at the Hurricane Invitational this week in Coral Gables, Fla.

Kim's second-consecutive second-place finish helped lead the Wildcats to the team championship at Miami's Hurricane Invite at The Biltmore Course. She fired a pair of under-par rounds and ended the event at 1-over 214 (69-70-75). The effort comes on the heels of Kim's runner-up performance at the Lady Puerto Rico in NU's last tournament two weeks ago.

Northwestern has played in six events this year and won Big Ten Golfer of the Week after five of them. Kim has won three times while Suchaya Tangkamolprasert (Bangkok, Thailand/Bromsgrove International School) and Kaitlin Park (Tustin, Calif./Beckman) have each won once.
