EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern looks to extend its winning streak to three when it hosts Penn State Saturday at Welsh-Ryan Arena. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.

The contest is the lone regular-season meeting between the Wildcats and the Nittany Lions and will be the third straight played in Evanston between the teams.

Bryant McIntosh scored 17 points to lead five Wildcats in double figures and Northwestern hit a season-high 15 3-pointers in a 72-66 victory at Minnesota on Wednesday. McIntosh also dished out 6 assists while Tre Demps tied a career high with 7.

Northwestern's 15 3-pointers rank as a tie for the fourth-best single-game total in school history and were the most by the Wildcats since they hit 15 at Penn State on Feb. 25, 2012.

Junior center Alex Olah enters Saturday's contest with 134 career blocks, two shy of John Shurna (2009-12) for the top mark in Northwestern history. Olah ranks second in the Big Ten with an average of 1.8 blocks per game this season.

Northwestern's regarded freshman class continues to contribute and make progress as its initial collegiate campaign winds down. After posting 7 points, 6 rebounds and 3 blocked shots in Sunday's win over Iowa, Scottie Lindsey followed up the effort with 10 points in Wednesday's victory over Minnesota. Vic Law played a huge role in Wednesday's win as he made three consecutive 3-pointers during a 16-0 second-half run and finished with 9 points.

Gavin Skelly has provided a huge energy boost off the bench in an increased role over the last two games. He had 3 points, 4 rebounds and a block in 7 minutes of action vs. Iowa then recorded 3 points, 2 offensive boards and 3 blocks in 8 minutes against Minnesota.

Last but certainly not least, Bryant McIntosh has been consistently outstanding throughout the season. He had 18 points vs. the Hawkeyes and 17 points and 6 assists vs. the Golden Gophers. Those four freshmen combined for 39 points in Wednesday's win at Minnesota.
