EVANSTON, Ill. – The 22nd-ranked Northwestern wrestling team hosts its second straight top-10 team when the Nebraska Cornhuskers come to Evanston on Friday. The dual between the Wildcats (9-6, 1-5) and the No. 10 Huskers (7-1, 4-1) begins at 7 p.m. inside Welsh-Ryan Arena.

Five Northwestern wrestlers find themselves in the top-20 at their respective weight classes in the latest InterMat poll. Jason Tsirtsis (25-1) is the highest-ranked Wildcat, coming in at No. 3 at 149 lbs. Mike McMullan (18-2) remained fourth at heavyweight even after beating top-ranked Bobby Telford of Iowa last Friday. Pierce Harger (20-4) has knocked off three top-10 wrestlers in his last seven matches and comes in eighth at 165. At 197, Alex Polizzi (21-6) is ranked 12th, and Dominick Malone (16-12) finds his way back into the national rankings at No. 20 at 133 lbs.

Fans can expect to see a couple of matches featuring ranked foes. Polizzi is slated to take on No. 20 Aaron Studebaker (21-6), and McMullan is scheduled to match up against No. 17 Collin Jensen (11-8). McMullan beat Jensen in their only previous meeting at the 2012 Midlands by a 7-0 decision.
