EVANSTON, Ill. -- Fresh off impressive and dramatic wins over regional rival Notre Dame last week, Northwestern's men and women return to the Norris Aquatics Center for one final home meet in the 2014-15 season when they face Milwaukee at 5 p.m. CT Friday, Jan. 16, on Senior Day.

Admission is FREE to the Norris Aquatics Center. Be certain to arrive early for the Senior Day Ceremony, which will commence approximately 15 minutes before the start of the meet. Additionally, live results for Friday are available courtesy of NUsports.com.

While swimming in a double dual against Notre Dame and top-10 ranked Michigan last Saturday, the Northwestern men handily defeated ND in a meet featuring a Big Ten title preview between the Wildcats' Jordan Wilimovsky (Malibu, Calif./Malibu) and Michigan's host of talented distance swimmers, which Wilimovsky won handily. NU also saw a return to form by senior Mark Ferguson (Perth, Australia/John XXIII), who swam season-best times in his events.

The Northwestern women received strong racing up and down the meet program -- primarily from freshmen and sophomore stars in the making -- in what long-time head coach Jimmy Tierney called "our best swimming at Michigan in 15-20 years." The Wildcats needed a 1-2 finish in the final freestyle relay to defeat the Irish, and that's exactly what they got in a 154-146 victory.

Friday at the Norris Aquatics Center will be all about the Senior Class which comprises two women and six men, seven swimmers and one diver. Below are several highlights of each of their careers:

John Andrade: John Andrade transferred to Northwestern last season following two years at Notre Dame, making an immediate impact for NU diving . This year, he won the 3-meter springboard event at No. 19 Wisconsin with an NCAA Zone qualification score to earn the Big Ten Diver of the Week award. This year alone, John already has recorded 10 top-5 dual-meet event finishes to score points for Northwestern. He will graduated from NU with a degree in psychology.

Uula Auren: Uula Auren arrived in Evanston in the fall of 2011 and immediately became the Wildcats top sprint breaststroke specialist, scoring points in both breast distances at the Big Ten Championships that year. Uula has posted NU's top 100 breast time in each of his four seasons, recorded NCAA `B' cuts in each season and won 17 dual-meet races during his career. He is a multiple-time Academic All-Big Ten award winner and a CSCAA Scholar All-American who will graduate with degrees in both political science and international studies with an additional minor in business institutions.
