WATCH: NU at Purdue Game Highlights
EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern senior safety Ibraheim Campbell was the recipient of Big Ten Co-Defensive Player of the Week honors Monday after stuffing the stat sheet in the Wildcats' 38-14 victory at Purdue on Saturday.
Campbell was all over the field for the NU defense, recording his third forced fumble in the last two games as well as a fumble recovery and an interception. Campbell also had a game-high two pass breakups to go along with eight tackles. Campbell's eight stops put him over 300 tackles for his career at NU.
A four-year starter and 2014 co-captain, Campbell has moved into a tie for third all-time at Northwestern with 11 career interceptions and also ranks fifth in school history with 24 pass breakups.
Campbell shares his first career weekly Big Ten honor with Minnesota's Briean Boddy-Calhoun.
