EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern senior defensive tackle Sean McEvilly has been granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA, the Wildcats announced on Thursday. McEvilly will be eligible to play for the Wildcats during the 2015-16 academic year.
The Yorba Linda, Calif., native has appeared in 19 career games for the Wildcats -- making 13 starts in 2012 and 2013 -- is an Academic All-Big Ten honoree and a member of Northwestern football's 12-person Leadership Council.
