Complete 2014-15 Northwestern Women's Basketball Schedule
EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern, in conjunction with the Big Ten Conference and its television partners, announced the tip-off times and television designations for the 2014-15 season Monday.
The Wildcats will have at least 24 regular season contests televised either on the Big Ten Network (BTN) or through BTN Plus on BTN2GO. Every game at Welsh-Ryan Arena, which features four brand new video boards and a freshly redesigned court, will be televised, as will all 18 of NU's Big Ten tilts.
Northwestern is slated to appear in front of a national television audience at least three times with the possibility of one additional wildcard selection. The first game that will be carried live on BTN takes place in Columbus, Ohio when the 'Cats tangle with the Ohio State Buckeyes on January 4, 2015 at 3 p.m. CT.
The 'Cats will clash with the Wolverines of Michigan twice on BTN within the span of a month. NU hosts Michigan on Saturday, January 17 at 5 p.m. and it travels to Ann Arbor, Mich. for a game on Valentine's Day, February 14 at 1 p.m. CT.
The regular season finale is slated for Sunday, March 1 and it brings the Maryland Terrapins to Welsh-Ryan Arena for the first time as members of the Big Ten. That start time will be announced at a later date and the game will be televised on either BTN or BTN Plus on BTN2GO.
