EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern Women's Swimming and Diving is thrilled to announce its third annual Breaststroke for Breast Cancer (B4BC) fundraising event on Wednesday, Oct. 29.
Come to the pool at Henry Crown Sports Pavilion for a Relay Style Swim-a-thon, competing alongside NCAA qualifying and Big Ten finalist swimmers, other athletes, students, faculty and community members. All are welcome! Registration begins at 5 p.m. with the relay running for one hour from 6-7 p.m.
To participate in the swim-a-thon, registration is $15 for community members and $5 for NU students. Admission to the event is free although donations are welcome and encouraged for this great cause! All money raised goes to benefit the local Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation.
Alongside the athletic contest will be a bake sale of pink-frosted desserts. Come hungry for cookies and cupcakes showered with pink sprinkles!
If swimming isn't for you, several carnival themed games will be available on the side such as ring toss and other fun-for-all-ages events.
Check out our Official Website to donate online and sign up for the event! Come wearing pink!
Northwestern Women's Swimming and Diving program is proud to host this community-wide event where purple pride changes to pink just for a day.
