EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern women's basketball officially put a wrap on the 2013-14 season with the team's annual end of the year banquet. Held on campus at the Norris University Center, the Wildcats distributed a number of awards and reflected on the season that saw NU capture multiple wins over ranked foes, a trip back to the postseason and four All-Big Ten honorees.
A number of awards were distributed throughout the evening and the full list can be found below. Northwestern women's basketball season ticket holders and donors had the chance to attend the banquet and also helped issue the awards.
The team also saluted seniors Meghan McKeown and La'Terria Taylor one last time as they both will graduate from Northwestern in the spring. Each had a chance to address the crowd, McKeown via a speech in person and Taylor through a video since she is spending her final quarter studying abroad in South Africa.
With the 2013-14 season in the rear view mirror, the Wildcats look forward to another successful season in 2014-15. Northwestern returns all five starters, five All-Big Ten honorees and 95 percent of its scoring from 2013-14.
