EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern returns to the course after a nearly three weeks off from competition, playing at the Bryan National Collegiate. Played on the par-72, 6,386-yard Champions Course at the Bryan Park Golf and Enrichment Center, the three-day event runs from Friday, March 28-Sunday, March 30.

NU is currently ranked No. 17 in the country by Golfstat and will compete against some of the top teams in NCAA Division I as 10 of the 19 teams in the field (in addition to NU) are ranked in the top 30. The field includes two top 10 teams; No. 3 Duke and No. 8 South Carolina. The 17th annual Bryan National Collegiate is co-hosted by UNC Greensboro and Wake Forest.

This is NU's fourth appearance at the Bryan National Collegiate as the Wildcats also competed in this tournament from 2010-12. NU finished eighth during the 2012 event.

The Wildcats are coming off a tournament victory at the 17-team Hurricane Invitational (March 3-5) played in Coral Gables, Fla. Northwestern scored the low round of the day during the third and final round to edge second-place Iowa State by just a stroke. A trio of Wildcats placed in the top 15 while all five NU starters finished inside the top 40 to help NU capture the title. Junior Hana Lee tied for fifth, scoring a 1-over 214, and was honored as Big Ten Golfer of the Week after leading NU to the tournament win.

Northwestern will utilize the same lineup from the Hurricane Invitational as Lee, sophomores Kaitlin Park, Suchaya Tangkamolprasert and Elizabeth Szokol, along with freshman Kacie Komoto, are scheduled to compete for the Wildcats.
