MADISON, Wis. – Official brackets and seeds for the 2014 Big Ten Wrestling Championships were released Friday afternoon. Six NU wrestlers are seeded in their respective weight classes.
The seeded NU wrestlers are as follows: No. 10 Dominick Malone (133), No. 3 Jason Tsirtsis (149), No. 10 Ben Sullivan (157), No. 3 Pierce Harger (165), No. 7 Alex Polizzi (197) and No. 3 Mike McMullan (285).
Complete brackets can be found in the PDF link up above and first and second-round matches are listed below for the Northwestern competitors.
This year is the 100th edition of the Big Ten Wrestling Championships. Competition begins at 10 a.m. CT Saturday, March 8 and runs through Sunday, March 9. Fans can watch all the action live on the Big Ten Digital Network and be sure to tune into the Big Ten Network at 1:00 p.m. Sunday to watch the championship matches live.
