Milwaukee, Wis. –Over the past two seasons, Northwestern's Uula Auren has had plenty of success at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Auren broke his own Klotsche Natatorium pool record in the 100 yard breastroke Friday and helped NU defeat the Panthers 163-128.

Auren posted a time of 57.02 in the 100 yard breaststroke, besting his 57.59 time he swam in the event in 2013, to break his own pool record on the road. 

NU won the first five events of the night and 11 of the first 12 to pull away from the Panthers.

Northwestern began the meet winning the 200 yard medley relay with a time of  1:33.32. Charlie Cole continued NU's hot start in the first individual race, winning the 1,000 yard freestyle with a time of 9:35.51. Jordan Wilimovsky followed up to win the 200 yard freestyle (1:43.07) and Andrew Jovanovic swam a 51.20 to take the 100 yard backstroke. Wilmovsky followed up his win with another victory in the 200 yard backstroke, swimming 1:54.64.

After Aaron Sears took first in the 200 yard breast (2:10.43), Cole recorded his second win of the evening with a 4:35.05 time in the 500 yard free. 

Chase Stephens continued his impress times in the 50 yard freestyle, winning with a time of 21.07 and Mark Ferguson won the 100 free with a time of 47.22 

In the diving portion of the meet, Big Ten Freshman of the Week Andrew Cramer took first in 3-meter diving, posting a score of 381.60. 

With the win, NU improved to 7-3-1 to close out its regular season. Up next for the 'Cats, the team will compete in the Big Ten Championships in Ann Arbor, Mich. From Feb. 26 to March 1.
