EVANSTON, Ill. – The Big Ten Network announced its 2013-14 wrestling coverage this season. The network will air most-ever events and the entire 2014 Big Ten Wrestling Championships.
Northwestern will be featured five times either on the Big Ten Network or the Big Ten Digital Network on Wildcats All-Access (BTDN).
The Wildcats will host three matches this season at Welsh-Ryan Arena which will air live and two on the road.
Northwestern hosts Indiana live on Big Ten Network on Saturday, Jan. 4 at 3:30 p.m. CT.
The Wildcats will also face Minnesota on Friday, Jan. 10 at 7:00 p.m. CT at Welsh-Ryan Arena, which will air live on the Big Ten Digital Network on Wildcats All-Access (BTDN).
Also at Welsh-Ryan Arena this season, NU's match against Iowa on Friday, Jan. 31 at 7:00 p.m. CT will air on the BTDN.

Northwestern wrestling fans will have two opportunities to catch the Wildcats on the road this season. The two road matches airing live on the BTDN for NU will be at Penn State on Sunday, Jan. 19 at 1:00 p.m. and at Illinois on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 2:00 p.m. CT.
With the passionate wrestling community continuing to grow, more and more fans are turning to BTN as their home for Big Ten wrestling. Last year, BTN's wrestling coverage saw a double-digit increase in ratings.
“Wrestling attracts an extremely engaged and enthusiastic fan base,” said BTN President Mark Silverman. “With the strength of the Big Ten in the sport, the audience will only continue to grow.”
The final session of the 2014 Big Ten Wrestling Championships will be televised live at 2 PM ET on Sunday, March 9.
