EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern starts up the home portion of its 2013 season as it squares off with Boston University on Saturday and Miami (Ohio) on Monday at Lakeside Field. Both matches get underway at noon.

The Terries and Red Hawks also will play a neutral site contest at noon Sunday at Lakeside Field.

NU, ranked No. 11 in the Penn Monto/NFHCA preseason poll, got its season underway last weekend on the East Coast as it won two of three matches. The 'Cats controlled the majority of its season-opening contest at Providence last Friday but struggled to capitalize on its scoring opportunities, falling 2-1 in overtime.

Northwestern bounced back to defeat No. 15 Northeastern on Sunday as it scored three second-half goals en route to a 4-2 victory. Nikki Parsley, Dominique Masters, Caroline Troncelliti and Tara Puffenberger each recorded goals for the Wildcats.

The Wildcats wrapped up their road trip by posting a 3-0 shutout win at Division I newcomer UMass Lowell as Troncelliti accounted for all of NU's scoring.

Troncelliti scored a Big Ten-leading four goals over the weekend, including the hat trick against the River Hawks, en route to being named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week. It was the first such honor of her career. Her four goals came on just five shot attempts.

Northwestern accumulated 35 penalty corner attempts in the three contests to 13 for its opponents.
