Coffey Updates Throughout FIBA U19 World Championships
KLAIPEDA, Lithuania - Northwestern incoming freshman Nia Coffey (Minneapolis, Minn./Hopkins) and her teammates from USA Basketball, will play in the gold medal game at the 2013 FIBA U19 World Championships on Sunday. USA defeated Australia in Saturday's semifinal, 77-54, setting up a rematch with France in the finals.
Sunday's game will be played at the Klaipeda Arena at 8:15 p.m. local time/12:15 p.m. CT. Fans can watch the game live via webstream on ESPN3 with this link.
USA is a perfect 8-0 in the tournament, including a 69-63 victory over France during the final game of the second round. The six-point win was the closest victory all tournament for USA.
Coffey has been a key component off the bench for Team USA. She 6-1 forward has played in all eight games, scoring in double figures in two. All of her statistics throughout the tournament can be found with this link.
