EVANSTON, Ill. -- The Pat Fitzgerald Show will return to Comcast SportsNet Chicago in high definition for its third season beginning Tuesday, Sept. 4, once again providing Wildcat fans with an exclusive look inside the football program.
New this year, fans outside of the Comcast SportsNet Chicago viewing area will have the opportunity to watch The Pat Fitzgerald Show online. The show will be uploaded in its entirety to the official Northwestern Athletics YouTube channel each Wednesday after it debuts on TV.
The show will feature more interactivity with fans in 2012 thanks to the new Cricket Wireless "Tweet @ Fitz" segment. Fans are encouraged to tweet a question to the head coach by using #TweetatFitz. Coach Fitzgerald will read and answer a question each week on the show.
WGN Radio Sports Director Dave Eanet will again host the 13-episode show, which will run the course of the 2012 football season. A broadcast schedule for the first two months of the season is listed below.
Next week's season debut will recap Northwestern's season opener at Syracuse and look ahead to the home opener against Vanderbilt. The episode will also feature a special inside look at Northwestern's training with Navy SEALs during this year's Camp Kenosha.
The Pat Fitzgerald Show is produced as a partnership between Northwestern Athletics and the Medill School, and originates from Medill's McCormick Tribune Center Studio.
