EVANSTON, Ill. - Wednesday's contest between Northwestern and North Central scheduled for 3 p.m. at Rocky Miller Park has been canceled due to rain. The contest will not be rescheduled.
Winners of four of their last five games, the Wildcats return to action at 3 p.m. Friday as they open up a three-game weekend series with Illinois.
Fans are invited to a special spring edition of Wildcat Alley prior to Saturday's contest. The festivities get underway at noon, prior to a 1 p.m. first pitch for both the NU baseball and softball teams.
Fans can pick up a voucher for a $3 ticket to Saturday's game, a discount from the regular $7 price for a general admission ticket and the $4 charge for youth and seniors.
Also, the first 300 fans to attend Wildcat Alley will receive a free t-shirt.
