EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern looks to make its final push towards the Big Ten Championships this weekend when it returns to the course in Columbus, Ohio, at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate Tournament.

A tournament annually attended by the Wildcats, this year's Kepler features 15 teams and is hosted by Ohio State at the par-71, 7,451 yard Scarlet Course. The first and second rounds will be held Saturday, April 14, beginning with a 7:30 a.m. CT shotgun start. The final round is set for Sunday, with tee times starting at 7:30 as well.

The 15-team field includes Ball State, Bowling Green, Dayton, Eastern Michigan, Indiana, Kent State, Marshall, Northwestern, Ohio, Ohio State, SMU, Toledo, Western Kentucky, Wright State and Xavier. Live scoring is available at Golfstat.com while head coach Pat Goss will provide his entertaining brand of live twitter updates from the course at @NUGolf_Live.

The Wildcats have seen success in Columbus in the past. NU has taken home four titles at the Kepler Intercollegiate, making it the second-winningest team in event history. The squad's last victory came in 2009, when they finished with a 40-over 892 to top the 13-team field. Wildcat senior Eric Chun (Ansung City, South Korea/International Christian School), then a freshman, finished sixth overall that year, and looks to build on recent success in this weekend's tournament.

Chun took first overall with a 9-under 204 to lead Northwestern to an 11-stroke victory at last weekend's NYX Hoosier Invitational in Bloomington, Ind. At his current pace, the senior is in position to break Luke Donald's school record for single-season stroke average.

Northwestern looks to cap off an already strong spring campaign this weekend. The team picked up the team title at the Big Ten Match Play Championship in mid-February before taking home titles in 15-team fields at both the Rice Intercollegiate and NYX Hoosier Invitational.

After the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate, the 'Cats will take a week off and prepare for the Big Ten Championships, taking place from April 27-29 in French Lick, Ind.
